MAGNIFIX Secured 1.5 million system Integration project from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kuala Lumpur, 17th July 2000- Magnifix Sdn Bhd, Malaysian leader in open source solutions, today announced that the company had secured project worth RM1.5 million from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). The project includes supplies, integration, installation and services of software, hardware and network equipment for the University's school of Information Technology.
Commenting on the appointment of Magnifix, Chief Operating Officer, Meor Fauzi, " The appointment of Magnifix by UPSI was in fact something that we have been waiting for. We have a very close relationship with the school for years, and our Linux solutions have been powering the institution networks, servers and applications for quite sometime."
Magnifix will supply, integrate and install applications ranging from Math. tools, courseware applications, graphic manipulations to networking operating systems from software makers such as Mathlab, Keypress, Adobe, Autodesk, Corel, Macromedia and Quark, and hardwares from leading vendors such as Hewlett Packard, AMP and Compaq.

Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), situated in Tanjong Malim, Perak was established in 1997. UPSI's vision is to become an unique higher learning institute with high quality teaching methods to produce an intellectual breed of graduates.
